What is the Whole30?
The Whole30 is a nutritional reset created by Melissa and Dallas Hartwig that will change your relationship with food. This 30 day reset is designed to help terminate sugar cravings, poor eating habits, help with the regulation of hormones and metabolism, and will assist in balancing your immune system and gut health. The end goal is that you establish a healthy relationship with food so that you may live in food freedom! |

During the 30 days we omit sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes, dairy, carrageenan and other additives, from the diet completely. These foods are known to sometimes affect the body in a negative way, therefore, we eliminate them for the 30 days. Once the 30 days have been completed, we then go through the reintroduction phase where we reintroduce the eliminated food groups back into the diet in a carefully planned out process to determine how our bodies react, if at all, physically (both internally and externally) and psychologically. |

So why do you need to do a Whole30?
This process is known to change the way you think about food for the better. By eating non-processed, real, whole foods your body resets itself. You brain is retained to want these healthy foods - therefore changing your life forever!!
Whole30 is not a weight loss diet. In fact its not a diet at all - thats why we call it a reset! The Whole30 is about so much more than weight loss. I will say that for most weight loss does happen as an added benefit. You will experience what we like to call - Non-Scale Victories throughout your 30 days. You might ask what this is, so some examples are increased energy, clear skin, improved blood pressure, better sleep, no brain fog, PR's in your workouts, better or even corrected lab values. All from just changing the way you eat!!
The bottom line and end goal is that you are able to learn to live in your Food Freedom, so that you feel in control with the food you choose to eat.
